Press release February 2, 2004 - PlanMill Ltd, part of TJ Group Plc and a provider of browser-based and user-friendly PSA (Professional Services Automation) solutions, has signed an agreement with Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company for increasing their user base for the PlanMill PSA solution by 400 users.

The solution supports and improves Ilmarinen's standardized project operations and related management and covers the planning and monitoring of project operations, project teams' time management, and reporting. 

Ilmarinen is a mutual pension insurance company owned by its customers. Its task is to take care of the statutory pension coverage of employees and entrepreneurs.

According to Ilmarinen's head of IT Management Department Jukka Hirvinen, the company was looking for a user-friendly and browser-based system for managing its demanding internal development and service projects. At the same time, they wanted to ensure that the selected PSA solution will fulfill Ilmarinen's customer-specific business demands also in the future.

- The PlanMill PSA solution stood out among the alternatives due to its modular design and its user-friendly, browser-based approach. The selection was also backed up by PlanMill's flexible and cost-effective implementation model, says Jukka Hirvinen.

The parties have decided not to disclose the financial value of the deal.
