PlanMill Ltd has delivered to Frantic Media Oy a fully browser-based PSA (Professional Services Automation) solution for a networked business environment.

The PlanMill PSA solution, which supports real-time operation, is in a key position in managing Frantic’s growth strategy. The service is provided as Software as a Service (SaaS).

With the new integrated PSA solution, Frantic will improve the processes related to customer relationship management and development, monitoring of work hours and costs, monitoring of support requests, sales orders and projects, and invoicing. The company aims at using the real-time PSA system to make the planning, monitoring and management of its entire service business clearer and faster. Frantic will use the PlanMill PSA system to replace a number of separate information systems either based on Microsoft Excel or developed by the company itself.

The CEO of Frantic, Sami Relander says that their quickly growing company was looking for a suitable system for a long time.

– We were hoping to find a system that would be suitable both for development of demanding customer relationships and for managing consulting and delivery projects and that would cover all of the main processes of our business. Additionally, it had to be a centralized and cost-effective Software as a Service (SaaS), says Relander.

The company also wanted to ensure that the selected PSA solution can be expanded as needed and will thus fulfill the demands of a networked business environment also in the future.

– We wanted an agile and user-friendly system. Additionally, we were hoping for fast and easy implementation and cost-effective integration with our outsourced financial management system. We also demanded that the system must adapt to the changing needs and must suit us also three years from now, explains Sami Relander about the choice.
