PlanMill is pleased to announce today the general availability of PlanMill 12.6 for existing and new users, offering new add-on and several key features and enhancements, as well as addressing known and fixed issues. Download PlanMill Release Notes 12.6  

PlanMill add-ons

  • PlanMill Timer – More easy and visible ways to track hours accurately in real-time.

  • PlanMill Email CaptureSupport for automatic capture of incoming emails is available for most of PlanMill modules such as Actions, Accounts and Opportunities.*

  • PlanMill Connector for eFina – Easy way to transfer purchases from eFina to PlanMil projects.*

  • Indicators* – Several new out-of-the-box indicators has been added:
    • My worktime analysis (Indicators > My indicator)
    • My pipeline by sales stage (Indicators > My indicator)
    • My team’s pipeline by sales stage (Indicators > My indicator)
    • Billable utilization quarterly rate by company (Indicators > HRM)
    • All billable hours by quarter (Indicators > Projects)
    • Invoices by quarter (Indicators > Finance)
    • Invoices by year (Indicators > Finance)
    • Invoices analysis (Indicators > Finance)
    • Items created by user (My settings)

  • Accounts
    • Social media - Support for social media related URLs such as Blog, Facebook and Twitter added.
    • Settings – Company-related information.

  • Projects – Support for an additional invoice address.*

  • Expenses – Multiple expense rows can be added in the expense form.

  • Email (outgoing) – Enhanced the functionality for sending mail from PlanMill. If email is sent and some of the recipients do not have an email address or it is invalid (for example @planmill.com or x@.com), the sender gets a clear error message with the information of whose address needs to be fixed. If the address is fixed during the next 3 days, the email will be automatically sent to all the recipients. None of the recipients receive email, if any of the addresses fail.

  • Finances
    • Support for using planned invoiced date or date when the invoice is created from the revenue items*
    • Invoice attachments show company logo, if logo is saved to "My company"-account's settings.

  • Open API 

    • Support for new methods such as downloading documents, invoice PDFs and contact photos.*

    • Support for accepting and unaccepting reports.

*Note: A separate activation request by the customer is required.

User experience enhancements 

  • Workspace – Support for expand / collapse (+ / -) of content, new default my scenarios related content added to personalize and dynamic column layout.

  • Summary page
    • Headers - Click headers to expand/collapse content.
    • Category headers – Easy way to read summary page data.

  • Mini list view (My open tasks, etc.) – Support for icons and style fields such as background colors.

  • List view – Support for style fields such as background colors.
  • Form
    • Support for autocomplete, which provides suggestions while you type into the field. Currently implemented to Account and Contact form fields.

  • Pop-up windows – Support for overlay iframes.
