My Workspace. My workspace is the main entry point in PlanMill. Based on the parameterization the sections and frames shown in the workspace may vary. The default frames in My workspace for example include Portfolios, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Reports. Personalize to meet your unique business needs! 

Project portfolio management (PPM). Group projects to look at the big picture. Create and view portfolios and summaries. Multiple projects Gantt. Cost/revenue and Earned valueanalysis. Portfolio views. Budgeted/Actual/Forecast comparisons. 

Project management. Create new billable and non-billable projects easily via simple wizard. Manage project relatad, budgets, schedules, Gantt charts, baselines and milestones. Collaborate with MS Project users via export/import. New project wizard guides you in the entire project creation process.  Tasks/Performers tab adds all team members from project team.   

Project templates. Project managers do not have to waste time and create recurring projects every time since PlanMill Project offers predefined templates that can be used when needed. Also, project managers can save their own projects as templates for further use.

Resource management. Versatile capabilities to manage person, team and project related resource bookings. Real-time calculation of actual and upcoming resource utilization.

Task management. Manage unlimited tasks and subtasks including start/finish dates,dependencies, billing type, duty type, status and percentage of completion, summary and attachments. Multiple assignments (persons and teams) on tasks. Additionally, every team member assigned to a task can update the time spent working on the task. Planned/Actual/Remain/Forecast comparisons.   

Time tracking: Several users such as employees, clients and subcontractors can report billable and non-billable hours worked on task or request (issue). Add multiple time entries and comments per task per day. Automatic of manual approval of submitted hours by project manager. Real-time view of employee balance time (or flex time). 

Expense & Purchase tracking. Track various kind project related of expenses such as travel and  purchases

Accounts & Contacts. Pivotal for prospects, customers, actions, requests,  partners, affiliates, suppliers, and others - all in one place!

Using the system’s Accounts or Contacts, a person’s LinkedIn profile can be viewed within PlanMill. As an option, Twitter widgets can be added to My Workspace using custom parameters.
