PlanMill 14.1 offers features enhancements as well as address known and fixed issues (Rel. September 21, 2011). This release introduces important usability improvements to work efficiency and day-to-day operations and will get you up and running in just a few minutes.

To improve user experience, we implemented under-the-hood optimizations and improvements. The most visible change for all users is the new date picker for all date fields. The buttons First Day, Today and Last Day were removed to create a simpler look. Current day and the day in the input field is shown and highlighted in the calendar pop-up.

Automatically copy a recurrent expense to a new one - information is inherited from an existing report to a new Expense sheet. Creating repetitive expenses (car usage, daily allowances, and others) is much easier because information is copied for example when you travel frequently with your own car or pay for repeated expenditures.

The "Help"-link from the user interface now directs users to the new and improved PlanMill Help which is also available in Finnish as "PlanMill Ohje". The new "Help" is part of PlanMill Community service powered by Atlassian Confluence. View more PlanMill product demos in Screencast or YouTube.
Creating projects from PlanMill Sales Orders for salespersons and project managers is easy. Create a project based on the Sales Order being saved when you need to report time and expenses to a project for invoicing.
PlanMill Sales Orders is a simple quote and sales order management from start to finish - completely integrated to Accounts, Contacts, Contracts, Requests, Projects and Products. When a salesperson create tasks based on the order items from the Sales Order - no need to write the same things again to avoid mistakes in billing types, dates, etc.
